Lovely J & G Meakin single bowl. Some underglaze cracking but there are no chips. The gold is still intact.
In pretty good condition considering its age
If you’re a fan of J&G Meakin, you will love this bowl with its pastoral scenery including the “Black Lion” Inn in Chelsea and a travelling Tinker. The Sunshine ware series was manufactured in the 1940s.
